Resumen geológico
A cone, designated here as Khoid Naiman Nuur ("North Eight Lakes"), is located in the upper reaches of a river valley ~25 km SW from the Orkhan (or Tsutgalan) waterfall, just N of the Khuisiin Naiman Nuur ("Eight Lakes of the Navel") area. Lava flows extend from the cone ~3.5 km S towards the lakes and ~15 km NW then NE down the valley towards the waterfall. Ivanov et al. (2015) noted that the cone and flows were probably Holocene based on their field observations.
