Gunung Tampomas is an andesitic stratovolcano overlooking the northern coastal plain of western Java about halfway between Tangkubanparahu and Cereme volcanoes. Youthful-looking lava flows are found on its flanks.

Tampomas adalah sebuah gunung berapi andesit yang terletak di Jawa Barat, tepatnya di sebelah utara kawasan perkotaan Sumedang. Stratovolkano dengan ketinggian 1684 meter di atas permukaan laut ini memiliki aliran lava aktif di sisi timur lerengnya. Terdapat juga sumber air panas yang keluar di daerah sekitar kaki gunung. Gunung Tampomas termasuk dalam area Taman Wisata Alam Gunung Tampomas.
