Sintesi geologica
The Lý Son (formerly known as Cù-Lao Ré) volcanic group consists of four subaerial and nine submarine cones about 150 km off the coast of central Vietnam. Three of the subaerial cones form Lý Son Island, and the fourth forms An Binh (or Dao Be) Island. The basaltic volcanic field is of Holocene age (Whitford-Stark 1987, pers. comm.).

Riassunto in ingleseCù-Lao Ré is a volcanic field northeast of Quảng Ngãi, Vietnam. The field consists of 13 volcanic cones; four subaerial and nine submarine. Three of the subaerial cones formed the Cù-Lao Ré Island, while the fourth one formed the Cù-Lao Bai Island. The islands form the Lý Sơn District of Quảng Ngãi Province.
